Altered Lance

The very aspect that brought my attention upon this photo was the manner of which the model seems to "disintegrate", the way he falls apart and crumbles and so on!!

At a first glance, it would seem as if he would be just a mere fragile being, meant to be torn apart and crushed; however, against odds, his pose would indicate a stoic attitude upon whatever forces would crush him, break him into tiny pieces. He`s standing as if he would have the necessary means of fighting the opposing forces against him, thus he is not even attempting to defend himself.

The male`s body language is marvelous - eyes closed sensually, not evoking fear; hands around his body - not in defense, as he would accept what is present around him, sensing that it would lead to an improved version of himself.

The technique used appeals me as well - like the use of lighting, how he appears to be (or soon to be) made out of dust, love every tiny bit of it (no pun intended) <img src="e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l…" width="26" height="17" alt="" data-embed-type="emoticon" data-embed-id="276" title="Love"/>
